Tiziano Marchioni, a qualified chemist who became painter by chance and who has always shown a real gift for engraving, was born in Ormelle (in the province of Treviso - TV), in the fertile plain of Oderzo, in 1957. He started to be strongly attracted by drawing and painting when he was very young. He has always and constantly cultivated his artistic passion, taking part, since 1974, to many collective exhibitions and both national and international competitions. In particular, he distinguished himself by etching, gaining several first prizes and numerous honourable placings. It was right for his  results that he was awarded a Merit Diploma by The Accademia dei Nuovi Illuministi of Catania in 1977.

Tiziano Marchioni, whose artistic work has been –and still is- very intense and involving, has qualified his artistic profession attending several specific courses, among which a nude drawing and painting course at the Centro Didattico of the Istituto Accademico of Rome, held by professors M. Missaglia and C. Borsato, and an engraving and graphics international course at the Istituto ISIA of Urbino, held by professor A. Calavalle.

His intense painting is documented not only by several monographies, reviews and art catalogues, but also by numerous and important personal exhibitions, thanks to which he earned unanimous approbations, both from public and critics. His first exhibition was in 1977 at the Galleria Tonon of Piavon di Oderzo (TV), and the other ones that deserves to be mentioned were held in: Galleria Brotto of Cornuda (TV) in 1979, Pinacoteca Alberto Martini of Oderzo (TV) in 1984, Galleria del Teatro Accademico of Castelfranco Veneto (TV) in 1984, Galleria La Loggia of Motta di Livenza (TV) in 1985, 1988 and 2003, Palazzo Roberti of Bassano del Grappa (VI) in 1985, Casa di Gaia Da Camino of Portobuffolč (TV) in 1991, 1993 and 1994, Centro Culturale of Resana (TV) in 1995, Galleria Treviso Arte Mostre of Treviso in 1998, Barchessa Manin of Montebelluna in 2003; and, at invitation : Sala Biblioteca Comunale of Noventa di Piave (VE) in 1977, Sala Consigliare of Abano Terme (PD) in 1985, Casa dei Carraresi (Fondazione CassaMarca) of Treviso in 1993, Exhibitions Hall of  Banca di Asolo e Montebelluna (VenetoBanca) of Treviso in 1996 and hall of the Provincial Seat of Poste Italiane of Treviso in 2000. In 2001 the District of Ormelle (Tv) held an anthological exhibition at the Centro Culturale Bachelet in order to commemorate his first 25 years of career.

He has been quoted by numerous historians and critics, among whom: Arturo Benvenuti, Egidio Bergamo, Mario Bernardi, Gimpaolo Bordignon Favero, Sandra Camerotto, Carlo Cimeli, Samantha  Cipolla, Marcello Cocchetto, Alberto Fratantaro, Vittoria Magno, Mariano Missaglia, Riccardo Monaco, Gabriella Niero, Siro Perin, Nicola Pezzella, Luigi Pianca, Paolo Rizzi, Giampiero Rorato, Carlo Sala, Silvano Sartori, Luciano Vanzella.

Tiziano Marchioni’ s way of expressing art is undoubtedly  grounded to the requests of the important Venetian tradition, but at the same time it is pervaded by a distinctive delicacy and a refined contemporary taste.

Numerous works exhibited at bodies, public collections, both Italian and foreign clients and collectors show his signature.
